DEWA (Dhobi Employees Welfare Association) is one of the most reputed and famous Association of our Community in Delhi. It was constituted/established in year 1983 for the members of our community, who were/are the employees of Government, Autonomous Bodies/ PSUs/ PSEs (under Central or State Governments) and non-Government Sectors and to bring them on a single platform. After about two years, this Association (DEWA) was registered with ‘Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Delhi and thus, DEWA is registered since 1985 under “Regn. No. S/16011”. As per Bye-laws of DEWA, it is non-political organization and shall not be affiliated to any political party.
